Exercise Physiology
 

Clinical Exercise Physiology is a relatively a new healthcare profession compared to the other allied health professions. Clinical Exercise Physiology is concerned with the investigation of human physiological changes during physical activity and the delivery of treatment services to mitigate and prevent chronic disease which include musculoskeletal, neurological conditions, cardiac rehabilitation and for chronic pain management.

 

Clinical Exercise Physiologists administer exercise testing and therapeutic training programs for individuals with chronic health disorders. Exercise Physiologists working with Isodynamics Rehab are heavily trained in exercise prescription of all the conditions particularly neurological conditions.

 

At Isodynamics Rehab we use evidence based exercise interventions to treat our patients condition and help to achieve their goals both clinical and functional which include meeting daily activities like walking, climbing stairs, and transfers. We also work closely with patients to improve exercise tolerance and endurance to not only improve their cardiovascular fitness but also them regain their daily life independance.
