Shinae joined the Isodynamics team at the beginning of 2023 after graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation and joining ESSA to become an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. During her degree, Shinae gained valuable experience with health conditions in a variety of areas including neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal, in both hospital and private clinic settings. Shinae developed a keen desire for working alongside people with neurological conditions during her studies and completed a neurological based practical placement which provided valuable information and experience. Shinae loves the complex and unique nature of neurological conditions and how no two clients are the same. Shinae is highly empathetic and prioritises building strong relationships with her clients. Whether it be providing a safe space to talk through any concerns or having a laugh while completing exercises, she loves getting to know her clients and making them feel comfortable in the clinic. Shinae also loves using her skillset and resources available to make exercise accessible to everyone. She has a high focus on improving balance, muscular strength, and mobility to allow individuals to maintain their level of independence and achieve the best quality of life possible. When not at work, Shinae enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing, going to the beach and running.

Adeen Sowinski

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Adeen graduated as an Exercise Physiologist from Wollongong University in 2023, acquiring a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. ​ Adeen’s experience within the allied health forces involves working with a broad range of complex conditions, ranging from musculoskeletal, cardiovascular to neurological. Upon studying for 5 years, Adeen has an in-depth understanding of how the human body responds to exercise, being able to create individualised tailored workout programs that help take his clients a step closer towards achieving their personal goals. Whether it is improving performance, recovering from an injury, enhancing overall well-being, Adeen’s expertise shines through in every client interaction. Adeen has achieved the right balance of being energetic, passionate, empathetic with a side of loving to chit chat. ​ When Adeen is not working, he is usually on his own adventures such as fishing, playing soccer, going to the beach, rock climbing or achieving his own exercise goals.

Jagan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has been a practising healthcare professional for the last 20 years with a special interest in Musculoskeletal and Neurological Rehabilitation. Jagan has a special interest in Neurological rehabilitation. ​ Jagan started his career as a physiotherapist in overseas and went on to complete a Masters in Exercise Physiology (Rehab) with Charles Stuart University. As an Exercise Physiologist Jagan has worked extensively with chronic musculoskeletal conditions particularly knees, hips, lower back, shoulders pre and post-operatively, amputee rehabilitation, scoliosis, cancer rehabilitation and has witnessed evidence of the profound effect exercise has on these conditions, notably improving balance, coordination, endurance and strength. ​ Designing safe exercise and rehabilitation programs for chronic conditions forms an integral component of Jagan’s expertise. Through continues education Jagan has completed certificate courses in bobath, McKenzie therapy, kinesiology taping etc. ​ Being appointed team leader at Isodynamics Reviver, a novel Neuromuscular rehabilitation clinic in Southern Sydney in 2017, enabled Jagan to gain impressive experience working with people diagnosed with CVA, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and other Neurological conditions. In this role Jagan was able to hone his skills in numerous clinical areas including detailed assessment, establishing client goals, creating safe exercise programs for clinic and home use, gait assessment and training and the like. In addition working at the clinic allowed Jagan the opportunity to develop valuable experience working with both the physical and mental health of his clients. ​ Jagan takes a keen interest in his clients and their individual needs. He has an amiable nature that helps put clients at ease and has them look forward to their therapy sessions with him.

Elise Dunn

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Elise is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 15 years’ experience. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Exercise Science. Elise has worked in a wide range of multidisciplinary teams including outpatient hospital rehabilitation and workplace health and rehabilitation. She has a vast knowledge base with experience in hydrotherapy, falls prevention, aged care, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and neuromuscular exercise. She completed The PD Warrior training course (specialised exercise for people living with Parkinson’s disease), courses for falls prevention and exercise for people with arthritis as well as Clinical Tai Chi for Rehabilitation. She gains great satisfaction from seeing her clients achieve their goals. Having 2 small children, keeps her on her toes and active keeping them entertained. Her other interests include cooking and yoga to keep her grounded.
